Employees W-2 Forms

1099-MISC

Sometimes small businesses have workers who are not employees. They can include subcontractors, janitorial services, lawn services etc. If these service providers are not incorporated, the IRS requires the business owner to issue a 1099-MISC to them. Form 1099-MISC is the official reporting of payments made from your company to the subcontractor, service provider, etc.
